Easy Chicken And Rice

Easy chicken and rice is one of those awesome recipes that you can put together in five minutes, bake, and then eat. Delicious rice and chicken in one pan.

I use to make it all the time. In fact, I made it so much that it has been a few years since I have made it. I love putting it together and then placing it into the oven and forgetting about it for a few hours, and then you can put it right onto the table.

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can of cream of mushroom soup*
  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans of cream of chicken soup*
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4-6 skinless chicken breasts (not cooked), or chicken strips
  • salt, pepper and paprika

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix the 3 cans of cream soup (mushroom, chicken & celery in combination desired), 3/4 cup water, and 1 cup raw rice.
  2. Place into a well greased 9" X 13" pan.
  3. Put the 4 - 6 raw, skinless chicken breasts on top of the soup mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the top with salt, pepper and some paprika.
  5. Cover with foil.
  6. Cook in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours, or 1 1/2 hours at 375 degrees.
  7. Remove from the oven and enjoy.
